Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act through December 31, 2014

As expected, the Senate yesterday passed H.R. 5771: the Tax Increase Prevention Act of 2014, by a vote of 76 – 16, without amendment, so the bill goes on to President Obama for signature. One of the provisions of this Act extends the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act through December 31, 2014.
