I was born a country girl and grew up an Army brat, before dad took a corporate job. In 1980 we settled in San Francisco, California, where my mom began a long and successful career as a Realtor. During high school, I was mom’s assistant, and in 2001 I began my own real estate career. I have been a Realtor and mortgage broker. My interest in this field widened as a relocation specialist, and I grew my own real estate portfolio by buying and selling homes -- from fixers to vacation income properties. In July 2008, my fiancé and I came to Bend to visit my dad and stepmom. We wanted to see their horse property and all the changes going on in the Central Oregon area.
